Good morning to you,

I would like to ask you a question in regards cancer and acai berry juice.
My aunt has been diagnosed with breast cancer and started chemo therapie. She would like to start drinking acai berry juice, however, on the bottle is written, that is not reccommneded to use it with medication.
I am under the impression, that acai berry juice is pure juice, with not additives or chemincals, and should not have any side effects. (Is a pure juice bought from health store)
Can I ask if this will harm her?
Every minute counts and we are not loosing hope.
Please let me know.

Thank you so much for answer.

besides the acai berry being one of the worlds most nutritional fruits, it has been proven to help destroy cancer cells. Cancer or no cancer this juice should be in everyone's diet daily to maintain good health. keep on fighting!

Re: acai berry
Acai berry juice is good, however, if your aunt is undergoing chemotherapy, then it is advisable that she consults her doctor as there are chances that it will cause side-effects.

Extremely eHealthy
There are a lot of studies that Acai could benifit drinkers in the fight against cancer. It is a powerful anti-oxident, clearly it helps resist cancer cancer development. There has been no proof that it destroys cancer cells unless it came out this morning. Hency why it is not perscribed by every doctor with a treating a patient with cancer.

I'm guessing the disclaimer on the Acai bottle is more of a legal protection for the company than actual drug interaction advice but you don't need an additive or a chemical to interfere with a drug or therapy. If you intend to use Acai as a treatment rather than a very strong fruit drink I would suggest you consult her doctor.
