i m 24 years old.when i was 13 years old i get my first menstruation with scanty blood.since then menstrution has not occured yet.i have done lot of checkup but didn't find any result of it.i don't have any problem on physical.i have done several usg and hormonal test,which result are normal all the time.now i m doing my treatment in siliguri.here also my usg report and hormonal report are normal .after that doctor asked me to do tuberculosis detection for the first time which i have not done it before in my earlier checkup.my report of IGA AND IGM are positive and to confirm it,biopsy was done and result shows that i have uterus tuberculosis
can u tell me, can uterus tuberculosis prevent mestruation? i want to know further about uterus tuberculosis.Through net study i find out that it is not safe to take ATT,is it true? can ATT can cure my problem.i m in great worry of this problem.can u suggest me for a better treatment.hope u will reply me further

Uterine Tuberculosis is silent disease and may not show any symptoms therefore it is difficult to diagnose.It can cause Menstrual irregularities,pelvic pain,vaginal discharge,fever etc.It can almost delay the menstrual cycles also in some cases.
Since Biopsy is a very confirmatory test and rest all other tests are normal it seems that you are suffering from Genital TB itself.It is absolutely safe to take ATT for cure as that is the only treatment and is very effective also.The duration of treatment can range from 6 to 9 months depending on the disease extent.Start the treatment so that its further spread can be prevented.The disease can spread to even Fallopian Tubes, damage them and can effect fertility also.
Consider visiting a Gynaecologist for evaluation
