I was drunk when it happened. It was this past sunday, the 14th. After a football game. They jumped me, beat me up pretty good. I got away finally and didnt feel too bad, I have a black eye and a scratched face and my back/ribs hurt on the left side pretty bad. and I think my nose might be broken. All in all it wasnt TOO bad. My only issue is that I havent been able to sleep since it happened, I'm not traumatized as I have been in plenty of fights but I just seem spacey when it comes to sleeping. I wake up sweating profusely and sometimes cold sometimes hot. Any ideas as to what could be wrong with me? I figure since my nose is kinda messed up it could be preventing me from sleeping well? If anyone has any ideas let me know. I'm new here so thanks for the welcome in advance peace

You should see your doctor. You may have a head injury associated with being beaten. You may be experiencing post traumatic stress from being beaten. I suggest you see a doctor and have your nose looked at and report the symptoms you are experiencing.

def go to see a dr, but don't be too nervous
Very likely you have some kind of mild head trauma, possibly a concussion to some degree or another. This could cause all kinds of involuntary sweating, confusion, anxiety, hypertension, etc. The dr's visit will be easy, and it's not the end of the world. But - if you have taken any lumps to the noggin, even ones you 'think' aren't so bad, and you have ANY wacky symptoms, its better off getting checked.

I've been in plenty of fights, and been dumped on my head a few times in grappling tournaments and been concussed. Sometimes the issues doesn't show itself for awhile. And I'm sure I lost a few brain cells along the way. Just be sure. Smile
