Can scars be removed by surgery?

Hello.

I am really having problem with face because I am losing my confidence due to the scars on my face. They were cause by some chicken pox that I accidentally pricked when I was young and I got a big an noticeable scar on my cheek when a nail hit my face.

I just wanted to know is there is a chance for me to fix it even if I need to undergo a surgery. I just wanted to have a clean face and feel good about myself.
