Q: Can I still be pregnant?

My next period should be in 2-3 days, and I took a test yesterday and it came out negative. I started spotting 6 days after I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend, and I got freaked out so I called a birthright hotline. The lady told me that on the 7-13 of July I was fertile and there was a possibility that I am pregnant if I had sex on those days. I had unprotected sex on July 7th.
Sometimes I feel fine but randomly throughout the day I've had huge headaches, a lot of gas, bloated, moody, lower back pains, lower abdomen pains, neck pains, and my veins have been like really noticeable and blue. I've also been really tired and and I never experience these symptoms before my period, just mostly during. Could I possibly be pregnant? hellppp

Well, the thing is a lot of your symptoms could be PMS symptoms.

Take another test tomorrow morning. Don't worry about drinking water, but just the first time you go to the bathroom-- test. However, if you had any HCG in your urine then you would have gotten a positive. You really may want to wait until after you actually miss your period.

Hm... did you have any irritation after sex?

Well, usually I don't have any PMS symptoms until my period has come and my periods are regular too so yeah, thanks I'll test again.

Yeah, I understand. But there are a few things that can exaggerate of affect PMS like your diet, stress levels.. stuff like that. It depends sometimes, for me PMS can be all over place and its never the same.

Good luck with your test

It's unlikely, but it is possible.
If you feel like you were misdiagnosed then you may want to ask for a second opinion.

That is the fun and friendly PMS that you are describing.

I would advise testing again if you are worried, but I'm saying...you ain't pregnant.
