Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
Seasonique tablets (contain hormones levonorgestrel/ethinyl estradiol tablets and ethinyl estradiol tablets) are available in Extended-Cycle Tablet Dispensers, contain 13-week supply of tablets: 84 light blue-green tablets (containing 0.15 mg of levonorgestrel and 0.03 mg ethinyl estradiol), and 7 yellow tablets (containing 0.01 mg of ethinyl estradiol).
LoSeasonique tablets (contain hormones levonorgestrel/ethinyl estradiol tablets and ethinyl estradiol tablets) are available in Extended-Cycle Tablet Dispensers, containing a 13-week supply of tablets: 84 orange tablets (containing 0.1 mg of levonorgestrel and 0.02 mg ethinyl estradiol), and 7 yellow tablets (containing 0.01 mg of ethinyl estradiol).
Since the hormonal dosage in the pill packs differ, you might not have effective protection during switchover of the birth control pills, and you should consider using back-up protection if having intercourse during first 2-3 weeks of switchover of the pills. For further clarification and assistance, visit your doctor/gynecologist.
Take care.
