I'm seeing a surgeon next week because i've been told my gallbladder isn't functioning and needs to come out. I had a laparoscopic hysterectomy last summer, and a laparoscopic bladder check and uterine suspension a couple of years before that. Will I be able to have my gallbladder removed laparoscopically?

Hello and welcome to e health forum.

Yes, most of the cases of gall bladder removal is usually done by laparoscopic surgical procedures.

Hence you might definitely be able to undergo such a procedure.

You might consult with your operating surgeon, who would be helpful to clear all your doubts and apprehensions.
