Can I get Hepatitis from cotton used on injection site?

i felt during the blood draw after injecting me the lady cleaned my vein with a cotton ball which she kept on a tray
which was not totally clean i might felt it was blood. could
be there accidentally what if the cotton ball soaked the
blood.

Dear sir/madam i asked because i have listen that it is the hepatitis virus which sustain long. And it was a compaign every thing was
going so fast. Thats why i asked can i get hepatitis virus in this manner?

Please tell should i go for test if yes when. What other kind of test i should take.

I can tell you that blood was not dripping from cotton ball, would the little amaount would inter through the punctured spot.

Welcome to e health forum.

Usually, the cotton swabs, used while venesection (blood collection procedures), contain alcohol, in them, which is a disinfectant. Alcohol kills all form of bacteria and viruses (including HIV and hepatitis).

Hence there is no need to be worried about Hepatitis transmission in your case.
