Welcome to e health forum.

Cytotec (misoprostol) is a medication that induces uterine contractions and hence is indicated for inducing MTP (medical termination of pregnancy).

It does not affect the function of menstruation which is influenced by hormonal balance maintained by the hypothalamus, pituitaty gland and the ovaries.

If you are having irregular periods and issues to conceive again then the underlying cause could be hormonal imbalance.

It would be recommended to consult your doctor who can prescribe you ovulation inducers and this can help you conceive.

I hope this helps.
