Dear Dr. / community. My cycle is anywhere from 45 days to 14 days in length. It changes in between months. My cycle from Dec 2 2007 to Jan 19 2008 was 45 days. It come on 27, 28,30,31,33 thru the rest of 2008 to this year. My cycle for Jan-May 2009 has come on the 19th of the month for Jan & Feb, 3 days late from the 19th the 22nd for March & April and 6 days late from the 19th and 3 days late from the 22nd for May. The cycle length for Jan- April has been 32 and for May it was 35. Should I go see a doctor?

Extremely eHealthy
The length of your cycle is dependent on various environmental factors such as general health, stress, sleep, travel, nutrition and many more. The menstrual cycle also normally differs from cycle to cycle, especially when you are not using hormonal birth control.

45 days is a very long cycle and 14 days is extremely short. The rest is however within the acceptable range.

Go and see a doctor if you are worried.
