So... I had sex for the first time almost a month ago.. I've been on birth control for about a year now .. I take it around the same time every day.. not exactly the same time.. occasionaly i'll miss a day. but i haven't this month or the month before. it was around the time when my period ended and i was just starting my birth control cycle again.. I've felt so nervous that i could be pregnant.. i don't know if the feeling in my stomach is just fear.. or what.. my breast aren't tender... and I'm not sure if I have any signs or symptoms.. i'm just really scared.. he didn't use a condom..

So how long ago did you have sex and when is your next period due?
The chances of pregnancy while on birth control are pretty slim, so you really don't need to worry as long as you've been taking your pills correctly. If you miss your next period, then test.

Also, use a back up method of birth control from now on so you don't have to worry so much. Wink

Uh. I should be getting my period sometime this week. most likely around wednesday.

I just feel really sick. I think it might just be guilt/nervousness. I'm just trying to figure out my chances. thanks. Smile

I honestly think you are just getting yourself worked up since you had sex for the first time and the consequences are weighing on your mind. You have made a smart choice by being on birth control. Just make sure you are using protection as well because you never know what STDs you can contract, even if someone says they are clean. Good luck hun!!!
