Hello Doctor!

im pregant and I dont really want to be, im booked in at the abortion clinic this week but I just want to check is it possible that I can have a abortion at 8 weeks?
and what does happen during the abortion?!

You can have a medical abortion up to 9 weeks legally, if you're over 9 weeks, you'll have to have a surgical abortion.

Also, during a medical abortion (if you're in the UK) you'll take a tablet after your scan, which stops the development of the embryo and after 6-48 hours, you will return to the clinic and take another four tablets orally. Be warned, you will feel awful afterwards, they tell you to take paracetamol beforehand, but this is no way enough. You will need a hot water bottle with you for your ride home and a sack full of sanitary towels. Take care x

An abortion doesnt make u unpregnant. It makes you the mother of a dead baby. Choose life. Adoption is an option tho.
