Hi, and thanks for your medical question on eHealth forum!

In general, tachycardia or increased heart rate can be due to low BP, anemia, hyperthyroidism, fever, low blood sugar, anxiety and panic disorder, heart causes like sinus tachycardia and palpitations, alcohol, coffee, effect of certain drugs etc. Cold and sinusitis per se will not cause increased heart beat. However fever and drugs that you may take for cold or sinusitis can cause increased heart rate.

Since a confirmed diagnosis cannot be given on net please consult your physician regarding this. Hope this helps. Take care!
