Can Bactrim DS cause health problems after use?

Is there any evidence to suggest that Bactrim DS can cause health problems after use?
I was given a 21 day course for bacterial epididymitis twice; the first course didn't seem to clear it up so my urologist gave me another course.
Since then, I've had unexplained symptoms, such as chest and rib cage pains, enlarged inguinal, cervical, and submandibular lymph nodes among other things. That was three years ago and my doctors have ensured my I am "healthy as a horse".
