can anyone help, migraine problem?

first of this has been happening for years but as i'm new to ehealth i thought i'd put this on here and see if anyone can give me an answer.

for as long as i can remember my mum has had these bad headaches where she ends up in bed for more than 3 days, only drinking water, she can't summon up the energy to even go to the toilet.
now my mum has high blood pressure (i think) something to do with her thyroid gland in which she has to take two tablets every day for the rest of her life, my grandad had this aswell and one day he got in the car and had a car crash (rest in peace) he'd often end up in bed for more than 4 days at a time
now i'm showing signs of having this thyroid gland problem but i am very squeamish so i am avoiding seeing a doctor because my mum says they will take my blood pressure and i can't stand needles!

but what i'm wondering is WHY my mum gets these headaches?, i have a brother but it didn't affect on him but it did affect on my granny too

she has been to see a doctor after she is better (because she can't get out of bed to get to a hospital) and i've called the doctors out frequently, all they do is give her tablets but as soon as she takes them she's throwing them back up again. she has a very high temperature when she gets these headaches, one doctor even came out and accused her of wasting their time!!

so i'm just wondering what more can be done, she's had every headache tablet possible and every tablet from the doctor she's tried them all they just make her sick. i get very worried about my mum when this happens and i know all that can be done is she has to sleep. but please i need to do something, i don't want to end up loosing my mum. my boyfriend has even seen her when she's not been well and the first thing he has said is "she needs to go to hospital" but i can't get her there! she won't get in a taxi either because she has no physical energy to even sit up.

there has to be a cure or surely a doctor who knows whats happening, please, anyone
