I wanted to see if anyone diagnosed with elevated liver enzymes heard of anxiety possibly being the cause?

I wouldn't think so but don't know for sure. My high levels were indicative of PBC - primary biliary cirrhosis. I take medicine & have routine blood tests but otherwise feel fine most of the time. I will probably be on medication forever, but it slows the damage to the liver.

I don't know if this has anything to do with your condition but I just did a very strict liver cleanse with Metagenics and a nutritionist and I became so anxious it was almost unmanageable. I definitely think there is a link between the liver and anxiety. Good luck!
