Q: c-section side effects

I posted a message awhile back, regarding fluid overload subsequent to csection blood loss and transfusion. Wondered if anyone has ever had this problem. The suggestion that my heart could not keep up has left me torn with questions. I don't want my son to be an only child, yet i am scared and my mother is terrified for me to have another child. Even though my echocardiogram turned out fine.

????

If it's only about your heart, and your heart doctor says it's okay, go for it. My friend had heart surgery a little over a year before she got pregnant. Everything went smoothly. She is now pregnant again (about halfway with a 15mo old) and her heart doctor again says she should be fine. If you do get get pregnant, I'm sure you'll be considered high risk, so please keep up on those appointments! Plus if they gave you too much blood, you may want to consider another hospital (just a thought). Good Luck!
