About two days after my doc took my
staples out of my c-section incision, it
opened up on one side. A bunch of fluid
drained out and I went back to the doctor
and they packed it. I ended up packing the
wound for 3 months. The doctors have been
very vague about why this would happen. I
was also VERY swollen after I came home. I
lost about 24 lbs within a week once the
fluid went away. Is it possible that the
incision burst because of all the fluid in
my body? What would cause this? I've never
heard of this happening to anyone before.
