C-Section opened after 21 years Posted: 06-23-08 13:56pm
About 2 years ago my c-section ripped open
about an inch or so and some light brown
puss came out. It closed back up after a
couple of days. Last year same thing
happened again. It has been 21 years
since I had this c-section (also had two
vaginal births after the c-section). Went
to the docs but never really got an answer
to why this happened. Since then I have
always been perspiring and my face gets
all red for no reason at all. Just
walking a short distance last winter I was
always hot and wore a lightweight coat but
still same thing happened. Doing light
housework makes me feel the same way. Now
for the last few months I always have
burning from the liver down to my
c-section. It goes away after a day or
two but always comes back. I have no idea
what is going on but am very worried which
is causing excess stress. Can anyone help
me or tell me what I need to do.

Wow sorry that you have been going through
so much. I cant help too much, but I do
suggest going in for a 2nd opinion. There
has to be a reason why all this is
happening. See as many doctors as you need
to get an answer. Not all doctors know
what is wrong but they are sometimes too
proud to admit it and refer you to someone
else. Instead its up to us to find someone
that can help. Best wishes.

I agree with Rosie. Get another opinion.
It sounds like the site is infected and
needs to be cleaned and treated. Find
another doctor. Write down all your
symptoms and present it to the doctor. I
hope you find out what is causing this.
