My wife is on her 5th bout of the infection. The first 3 were not actually diagnosed because didnt take a stool test, just thought it was stomach flu. The last two times she tested positive for c-diff and was prescribed flagyl. Went through the 10 days medication and then, 2 moths later it is back. Can you ever get rid of this? and she only has one day of diareah before the major stomach cramping and nausea and vomiting for 5 days. Is it common to have less diareah? Most I have read is major diareah. and finally can you ever kill these spores completely? She is very healthy and doesnt take other antibiotics. Is this contagious? I think my youngest daughter has as well even tough she has not tested positive- 1 stool test. Some said you need multiple tests. Please help. Thanks KVJ
