It has been a year of dealing with this bacteria called bv and yeat infections and i am so depressed. Because over and over it comes back yeast then bv then yeast then bv. My husband and I have been together for 10 years years and have never had this problem till April 2007. We asked for my husband to be treated or checked but he said that it wasn't necessary. So I have taken the recomended antibiotics but still nothing. It keep coming back to like every 4-5 weeks. Well my question is do have any suggestions, information or any other names of antibiotics that might help?

Extremely eHealthy
Are you the only one who have been checked and treated and your husband didn't wanted to be a part of the therapy?
What kind of meds you were taking?

me too
Yes. this has been happening to me as well. The first time I got it was in September 08 and it has been coming back ever 3, 4 or 5 weeks since then.
It's extremely annoying and I want to find answers.
There is no definite answer as to why women get it. I know that the vagina has all types of bacteria/infection fighting bacteria. It's a bacterial imbalance. But the question still remains, is it sexually transmitted or the sexual activity itself.
I have sex quite often. This is a pretty forward question but, do u have alot of sex?

It stops me from having sex I just cant deal with the smell and feeling uncomfortable.
I'm so glad I'm not alone.
