About a week ago i began to experience painful burning urination, it got worse and i began to see blood in the urine. I also developed ulcers on my tounge, they look just like tounge canker sores. I later developed small open sores on my vaginal area. I went to a doctor and was tested for every STD there is. I have been in a monogamous relationship for two years and it seemed very unlikely. All the tests came back negative. For a few days during the week I also had a fever and sweats. My boyfriend also developed the gential sores and says his mouth is starting to feel strange. I dont understand what is happening to us! The doctor suggests somthing auto immune but those disorders are not contageous and would not effect both of us so I dont see how that could be it. Please help if you have any idea.

Sounds like you need a second opinion from another doctor...

Two years of monogomy is now considered quite a short time - after seven years it is now said to be safe to dispense with condoms and other barrier methods...

While my opinion cannot be considered to be expert, your description of your symptoms do sound somewhat virus related and might even be herpes - the chickenpox/shingles/cold sore virus that lays dormant in nerves until the host suffers low resistance for a variety of reasons and then an attack can occur.
During an attack the sufferer is infectious...

Of course it might be something else!
Changing something in your lifestyle is probably the best way to find out if the doctors are no help. Make a change to what you do or what you use and eat and see if your symptoms change...

To get the right answer it is often necessary to first ask the right question!
