Burning Throat at Night

I am a 21 year old female, 5"6 and 115 lbs. I have no history of heartburn or eating disorders.

For the last three weeks Ive been experiencing burning pain in the base of my throat that comes and goes. It's the worst at night. I do drink a lot, and I've noticed that the burning gets imediately worse after even a little sip of beer, all alcohol makes it hurt.

I don't have any acid reflux, but sometimes it's a little sore behind my breast bone.

I don't know if this is related, but last night was the worst, and I had hiccups for three hours straight, something that never happens to me.

Did I manage to get an ulcer or something?
