Hi, can you please help me. I have had a burning sensation the Right side of my HIP area. If you place your hand on your hip and open it wide, it hurts there. Up and down, back and front and goes down my leg also soemtimes. It also soemtimes feels like its radiating towards my buttock, and near the pelvic bone too!

Its a dull ache, burning mostly when I sit down.

This sounds silly but for the past few months I have had to start my clothes dryer like this becasue it wont spin on its own!

I open the dryer, put my right foot on the button that is located on the bottom of the dryer and at the SAME exact time I spin the inside ( tumble part) with my hand and hurry and let go and press start real fast!

Is there any way I could have pulled a muscle or something?

Iam worried becasue I already had my gall bladder removed many years ago. I have slo been getting spasms here and there..

WHAT does burning senastion come from? Thanks so much!

I could be several things, but most likely a spine problem.

The pain you are describing is the typical description of nerve pain, something pressing on nerves.

Your method of starting your dryer may have caused a lumbar disc in your spine to bulge.

You need to see a spine specialist; either an orthopedic surgeon that specializes in spines or a neurosurgeon that specializes in spines only.

You need an evaluation, and probably an MRI to help with the diagnosis.
Once you have a diagnosis, a treatment plan can be formulated for you.

Good luck

Fran

Oh this would have nothing to do with having had you gall bladder removed many years ago.

Tearing sensation in hip
I just started having the same symptom as you describe yesterday. What is really ironic is that I too had my gall bladder out!! Furthermore, I had an autoimmune attack post op that paralized my brachial plexus in both arms. I am worried that this may be the start of some other attack.
