Dear Doc.

I have been suffering from this problem for last 5 years. Every day after having my meal i get a sever burning sensation on the center right part of my chest. i burp profusely. but i have a good appetite. as soon as the burning starts, my whole body feels like being heated and also feel headache, mild burning sensation in the nostrils and neck as well.Every time i feel like sleeping and feel dizziness. to add to this, i suffer a frequent episodes of panic attacks and anxiety followed by nausea, loss of appetite and fear.

Regarding treatment, i have seen a physician several times and all said that the problem was related to gastritis. but some 2.5 years ago i had seen a gastroenterologist and asked me to do the blood tests, stool test(blood occult too), chest x-ray,USG of upper abdomen, and endoscopy. the results of these tests all but showed bile reflux and i was treated with ranitidine and domperidone for 3 months. but i could feel no relief. the doctor insisted that there was no problem and asked me not to think about it...... then i started to live as it is.

But the frequent episodes of anxiety led me to visit a psychiatrist and he told me that i have been suffering fro anxiety disorder and the pain in the chest is due to somatization of the problem. i was treated with clonazepam, Alprozolam and paroxitine. i even had TFT but the result was negative. its been 1.5 years since i'm under psychotic medicine.

Still i'm feeling the same as i was, no real sign of excitement. Again, a month ago i again visited another physician and underwent treatment. he too asked for the test of blood( LFT, Hb,Amylase, etc.), urine, stool (occult blood),USG of Abdomen and endoscopy. but all results were negative. he just said that its fundus gastritis and said me that thats all he could do and asked me to take omeperazole for 1 month.

So i am confused and in despair what to do. so if any helpful suggestion please reply me as i have lived a life of nightmare for these long years.

Hoping for reply from you soon.

Regards,
Saurab
