i was taking metformin last year for pcos and I ended up having a major low blood sugar attack so I quit the metformin. I went through night sweats, burning sensation in the head, insomnia, tremors, anxiety, blurred vision, panic attacks and nausea. It went away with me losing 45 pounds with proper diet and exercise. now I am experiencing all the same symptoms. It all seemed to start with my grandmother passing away in july and me putting on 15 pounds. I been trying to eat healthy again and eating six small meals a day but I am naucious all the time and the panic attacks are worse. Now I have this awful sensation at night time in the back of my head. If I wake up and drink a glass of orange juice it will seem to subside quickly. I back that up with a few slices of turkey for protein. Then two hours later I wake up in the same condition. I am freaking out that these symptoms came back and worse. Is the burning sensation related to the hypoglycemia?

Oh yeah, and it was a common one for me. I'd also feel like my face (particularly cheeks) and tongue were burning.
