Q: Burning sensation during sex

I've recently (within the past month and a half) begun having a burning sensation during intercourse. It can be likened to a rash-like burning, I would suppose. It always starts when my partner puts on the condom and penetrates me, it's almost imediate, and thrusting makes it much worse. I have changed lubricants, and that didn't help at all. My next step will be changing condom materials, because I know for sure its not an STD, both of us are negative for everything.

My question was if this could possibly be a developed latex allergy? The burning nearly stopped (but not quite) when we tried it without a condom, but I don't want to have complete intercourse without protection against pregnancy.

I don't have insurance so I wanted to exhaust all of my other options and explanations before going to the gynocologist. Would it maybe be a good idea to try condoms made from different materials to see if that may help? Or should I go to the doctor asap?

Thanks in advance.

try lambskin, maybe you are allergic to latex condoms.
