I am 22 years old, and I am getting married in a couple of months. I recently had surgery to remove my left testicle because of testicular cancer. After I got home from the hospital to recover, an older male friend visited me to share his experiences since he had the same thing happen to him. He and his wife, who had two boys before he had his right testicle removed and two girls after, talked to me and my fiance for a while and gave us a lot of information and encouragement. However, once we were done talking he asked me to stay so he could talk to me alone. He told me that I would experience a burning sensation during ejaculation because the cut tubes are still being pulled for sperm. Is this true for everyone who has a testicle removed AND will having a testicle removed affect the sex of my children?
