Extremely eHealthy
Burning sensation during or after urination is a symptom of urinary tract infection.
There is a relation between vaginal flora, estrogen levels during menstrual period and UTI's frequency in women.
Women are significantly more likely to present with UTI 8 to 15 days after the onset of the last menstrual period, which is the time of peak estrogen secretion, than at any other time of the cycle.
It is believed that rise in estrogen levels, increases bacteria adherence (attaching) to the vaginal and urethral lining cells, leading to a urinary tract infection.
You may try drinking pure cranberry juice or take cranberry capsules, drink plenty of other fluids, and take vitamin C every day during that period.

Best wishes!
