Last Monday, I developed a burning sensation on my right side. It only appeared after physical activity {walk etc}, and was more annoying than painful. As the week progressed it got worse and worse.

The pain is located on my right side. If I put my hands on my natural waist, it is right under my right palm. But it does spread to the back and radiates all over the area. It is not a sharp or stabbing pain but a burning pain.

Last Friday I went to the Dr. I do not have an infection, but I did have a bit of blood in my urine. I got tested for stones and I do have 2 small stones 2mm in each kidney.

I was set up for an ultrasound and a urology test for this week.

On Saturday, I became nauseous. I thought maybe I had eaten too much but since then the symptoms have stayed. Now both of my sides hurt (with the burning) as well as my sternum area.

When I had the CT scan, my appendix and gall bladder looked fine.

I am just wondering if anyone could help me out while I am waiting for the next two tests. The dr. thinks it may be a cyst but is not too sure.

I am a 21 year old female. Last year I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism which I am now treating but other than that I have no other symptoms.

What could be causing this burning pain?
