Q: Burning pain after Hysterectomy

I had a complete Hysterectomy almost 2 years ago-the surgeon also removed a large (18 lb) mass. Since then I have had severe burning pain in my pelvic, stomach and chest. The pain occurs mostly at night when I lay down. I also have kidney and back pain which was the symptom that brought me to the Doctor in the first place and led to the Hysterectomy. Has anyone experienced this pain after Hysterectomy? I also have MS so I think sometimes the Dr. thinks it must just be another MS symptom, but I don't agree with that.

If your not comfortable with what the doctor has told you, then get a second opinion...It is possible that one physician can find what someone else has missed...This alone may make you feel more confident with what he has told you...Good luck...
