Get her professional help..She is either not onher meds or needs a meds change..Or something has triggered a bad resposne in her-maybe an argument with someone etc..Regardless she needs to talk with a psychologist asap..

I told her that night that I was going to bring her to the emergency room as she was having a meltdown. She called the boyfriend she had broken up with in her manic state and he came over and consoled her. She is reading bipolar self-help books now. I have talked with our psychologist and he said to have her bring the ex-boyfriend if that would get her to see him. She seems to be okay at the moment and hanging out with girlfriends. She won't see the doctor. Do you know of any phone line or immediate chat room that could help me get answers quicker? Thanks for getting back to me.
