I'm fair skinned and I've had my share of sunburns. Last summer, I was outside not only when the sun was at its highest but also without wearing sunscreen. I received second degree burns from that and was prescribed silvadene. The worst part of the burn was on my chest. Ever since then, my chest has been extra sensitive to touch to much pressure or even scratching an itch can cause irritation and pain. Also, my chest still feels as though it has a sunburn even though it doesn't appear so. It is still constantly stinging and burning. I have no idea what this can be and there are no visible abnormalities. Can someone please help?

Have you seen a dermatologist? Perhaps there is a another cause related to the skin that may explain the symptoms. Otherwise, you might want to check with a neurologist!
