Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum.
If the pains are associated with tightening of you tummy, then it could be contractions. Your body and uterus is getting ready for labor. Onset of labor and delivery after 37 completed weeks of gestation is considered to be fine. Visit your obstetrician at the earliest to look for the cause. Get started on appropriate measures to ensure smooth pregnancy until 40 weeks. Be at rest and do not do any heavy works.
Take care.
