Q: Bumps...HPV?

Over the last couple of months, I've noticed a few days after I shave my pubic area, there are tiny bumps forming. Some appear to be typical ingrown hairs, but then there are others that cause concern. They start out the same size as the ingrown hairs (approx. the size of a pin head), then get a teensy bit bigger. They have odd centers though. If I squeeze them lightly, a gel blob comes out instead of the typical whitehead pus, then an odd amount of blood follows. They always disappear as fast as the other ingrown hairs, but I am concerned.

My boyfriend was diagnosed with genital warts prior to us dating and I've been going to the gyno regularly, each visit coming back without any abnormal results and no visible growths.

Should I be concerned or is it likely I'm just being paranoid?

Although, small genital warts would not be expected to get smaller and disappear after squeezing, you may check it with your GYN, cause, genital warts can, indeed, appear as a small bumps, around or near hair follicles.
Try not to squeeze any bump you see in your genital area.

What's the color of the "suspected" bumps?
What does the "odd center" mean?

They look just like ingrown hairs, a little red and irritated.

And the odd center is this clear blob...instead of regular white heads having a white pus, these have a clear, solid, tiny blob.

This doesn't sound like a case of genital warts, but, you can check it with your GYN or dermatologist for sure.
Foliculitis is somehow more expectable diagnosis for me.
