Hello Guys!

I was not sure where to post this because I am a women searching for answers for my boyfriend. It is about a varicocele in his testicles so I think I have come to right place. I will give you all the information.

Alright, My boyfriend is 22 he has been sexually active since he was 15/16 years of age (Not sure if that has anything to do with this). He has had the varicocele since I have known him he had told me it became apparent to him a year before we dated. Became painful, very heavy feeling to his testicles. We do know that this is a varicocele he has been tested and have had many ultrasounds. Just the other day while doing a normal check up on himself he found a hard lump on an one of the veins that seemed to be on the outside of his varicocele. Alright that was all the information I could think of giving so here are my questions.

1. Should he be worried, maybe have it checked?
2. Is this normal to happen?
3. If this is not normal and he does go to his doctor what are they most likely to do for him?
4. If it is nothing should he worry about it becoming larger and more painful?
5. If he is fertile now, is there a chance that this may change him being fertile.
6. Is there a way to be tested for infertility for men?
7. If we do have a child and it is a male will our baby most likely have this issue also?
