Q: bump on arm

Last week I had two pimples on my arm. The chafed from shirts i was wearing and opened and were bleeding. i put a bandaid. I think it got infected so I cleaned it, soaked it in salt water. I think the infection went away (it doesn't hurt anymore) but I still have a bump on my arm. It does seem smaller than it was last week but it hasn't left yet. I really want it to go away. What can I do?

It might be prudent to get the bump diagnosed first by a dermatologist. You need to know if this bump originated from an insect bite, a parasite, or from somewhere in the skin itself. Then, you can take action to treat the bump.
