My nine year old seems awfully young to begin developing and I'm wondering if this is in fact what this bump is or if it is something I should have checked out. She is experiencing no pain, just fear because it feels different than the other side. Help.

some young children do develop early then others, and it is common for their breast to grow lopsided (I know mine did). also there is no harm in getting it checked out if that would make both of you feel more comfortable.
