My mother is mentally unstable (PTSD etc.) and she has effectively disowned me, because she says I am disrespectful, abusive and a liar - the only thing I have lied about is my bulimia. I am staying with family and have been for a few months now. My problem is that I think she is going to bring my belongings here BUT I still have stashes of food, empty laxative boxes and 3 sets of scales there... She's likely to find those, so I don't know if I should "come clean" about my ED now to my family or just say nothing? I'm not seeing my counsellor until 23rd and she could come anytime basically. Please help.
(I think I might be ready to tell, I just don't know about my family I'm staying with's reaction and I don't want to hurt them. Also I'm in recovery now.)
