I have a bulging disk with an annular tear in the lumbar region..I fell on ice back in January. I have been in pain since and the spine doctor I just went to see said it should not be causing me pain. There was a resident doctor in the room with my doctor and he was pointing things out to my doc. I kind of do not feel confident with him. What do you think? My pt thinks it is, but how knowledgeable are they? At first the spine doc said it may be DDD, but I clearly advised him I never had any pain before. I am 40 and I had a baby at 39, and I worked until the day before I had her. My job consists of me walking 80% of my day, on tile floors and up and down stairs and I never had any issues. I do not know what to do.
