Here's as much information as I have at this point:

18 year old male
family history of colon cancer, type 2 diabetes, and heart disease
overweight
1/2 pack a day smoker
daily cannabis smoker
little daily physical exercise
presents with a 7mm bulge 8cm bellow his left nipple, raising above the skin by 1-2mm
the bulge is tougher then the tissue surrounding it and is not painful to the touch
slight discoloration of the skin where the bulge is
the bulge is an oblique shape
bulge was first noticed three to four weeks ago
--------
should this be concerning and reason to schedule a doctors appointment?

Extremely eHealthy
Extra breast tissue like a lump (less than 1-1/2 inches across) located directly under the nipple in teenagers is known as gynecomastia.
Tender breast are also experienced.
This, usually, happens due to male hormonal changes, known as physiological gynecomastia, and often happens during puberty and adolescence.
In some cases, it is related to certain diseases like thyroid gland disorders, kidney and liver diseases, or it is caused due to use of certain drugs.

It is well known that use of cannabis, can lead to gynecomastia.

This extra breast tissue, rarely, means something serious, but, is good to be checked by your physician for possible underlying conditions.

Best wishes!
