Hello and welcome to E health forum.

The findings could be due to a inflammatory reaction to the suspected insect bite, which has now developed into a cellulitis.

Application of ice packs and use of advil might reduce the inflammation. Benadryl might reduce any itching.

Consultation with a physician for definitive diagnosis and effective treatment might be helpful.

I hope this helps.
