For the last few days, I have a small "bubbly" feeling behind my right knee. It comes every few seconds and has not gone away.

It is not painful, but it is somewhat annoying because when i am trying to sleep i am very aware of it.

ANyone had something similar?

yes, i had a similar feeling, which after a year or so started to turn painfull, then eventually i got it checked, and it turned out that i had a cyst and also a cartilage problem. which i have now had rectified by having an operation to remove the cyst and trim the cartilge.

Thank you for your reply. When you say a "cartilage problem" was it something related to fitness work outs?

No. although i play a lot of sport, ive never had an injury on my knee. however, probably due to wear and tear, the cartilage needed trimming. which was what the surgeon told me. and was not completly removed. its better to get it checked, ask to be sent for an mri scan.
