bruising on thighs

Hi guys

for the past few months i have noticed alot of bruises appearing on the outside of both thighs. They come and go. They are not very big, usually just the size of my thumb print and i don't seem to be getting bruises anywhere else unless i experience some trauma. The bruises on the thighs are not trauma related... although i do have alot of thread veins and wondered if they maybe burst and cause bruising?? (i am on my feet all day at work )

Just a little worried, i went to my gp and he said he's not worried but i still feel a bit worried.
