Hey Guys!

Ok so I have exhausted a few sites with no luck.

Maybe someone here fond of a repetitive movement hobby will know something.

Im a drummer. I recently got back into it.

A few days after a short 40min session, I noticed tenderness and yellow bruising on my forearms. The pain is only a 3/10 when I press on the location.

If my arms are out if front of my like a zombie, the bruising starts two inches above my wrist(measuring from wrist towards elbow) and continues for two inches after that. It goes from top dead center to the bottom on the inside portion of my fore arms.

It must be from the drums. Symmetry of this magnitude leads me to that conclusion. There is no chance that I hit, or caused any direct trauma to the area. I am not on any medication and I do not have any diseases(that I know about). I am 24 and in the ten years Ive played, ive never noticed this before.

Anyone know of any causes for this? Even for something like tennis or running? I will take it easy for a few days until the pain is gone and will limit my playing after that.

Even a hint at what it might be similar to, will help me in my search.

Thanks.

You should see your primary doctor. It could be tennis elbow or golfers elbow, but a diagnosis needs to be done by a doctor, after physical exam and probably an MRI of your arm, if either tennis elbow or golfers elbow is suspected.

Don't waste time, get to a doctor and find out what is wrong, before it leads to further problems for you.
