My boyfriend had to go to the hospital yesterday for bruised and bleeding temples. This was the worst, and only time we went to ER. it's kind of like the incredible hulk, but not. He stresses out very intensely, thinks VERY bad thoughts and gets flushed in the face. and then like tiny... Read More inner fireworks, blood vessels on his temples will start to explode/rupture, and then bleed under skin, making big swollen hematomas (sp?) (bulging contusion things - this time like golf ball on right side, several marbles on left)....and finally the pressure of blood under skin causes blood to ooze through his pores. today the swelling is down, but the blood has pooled all around his eyes. both eyes are purple raccoon eyes and swollen with bruising/blood under the skin. Has anyone ever experienced this before or have any information?

It's probably NOT related, but read a bit about amyloidosis. I'm not trying to scare you, but my father was recently diagnosed. Bruising around the eyes can be a symptom. It is rarely diagnosed early since it is rare and doctors don't connect the symptoms. I'm just trying to spread awareness.
