Q: bruised hand and tingling in finger

I woke up this morning with a large black and blue mark on the back of my left hand. It goes up to the knuckle on my middle finger, extends down from there about 2" and is 2" wide. There is also some bruising on the inside of the middle finger where it meets the hand. It is really only hurts when I bend the finger up until about 2 minutes ago. Now there is tingling at the tip of the middle finger. Anybody have any thoughts? I have not hit the hand with anything or into anything.
