Q: Brownish vaginal discharge and vaginal infections

Hi. i got my period on the 1st of november and it finished on the 7th of november although after this i have had a balckish brownish discharge type thing and its still here 5 days later. i started my pill on the 1st of november too. i just want an answer as its starting to worry me,

Brownish vaginal discharge could indicate the presence of a vaginal infection (colpitis).

If you started taking pills for the first time, this vaginal discharge could be a temporary side effect.

You could consult a gynecologist about this.
