Hi over the last six days I have had brownish streeks in my discharge once or twice a day when I wipe while using the bathroom. Recently I have experienced some spasms in the area of my urethra (no burning when I urinate though). I also have pressure in my lower abdomin. I took a UTI test and it came back negative. I am sexually active in a women to women relationship. Help?

Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
The symptoms that you describe could suggest possibility of vaginal infection or UTI, or cystitis, PID etc. The exact cause can be made out only after careful evaluation. Consider visiting your doctor/gynecologist for thorough examination and further evaluation to look for the underlying cause. Treatment as appropriate (based on examination findings and investigations results) would be started to help you. Be in regular monitoring and follow-up with your treating doctor/gynecologist and report any new/abnormal symptoms immediately. Drink plenty of water. Take adequate rest. Maintain healthy diet and lifestyle. Avoid vaginal douching, or use of harsh soap or perfumes in the area. Use loose cotton undergarments and avoid use of tight fitting clothes.
Take care.
