Q: Brown Vaginal Discharge!

Ok, I am about to start my period but havn't yet. I should have started by now and I'm a little freaked out. I have a brown discharge instead, the kind I have after my period. I am having cramps but they aren't bad at all. I have them every once in awhile. I don't understand what is wrong. Am I pregnant or is it just a really really light period. Some one please help.

If your on the younger side then this is nothing to worry about.Your body is still adjusting to having a period and this will take several years.During that time you will have no period one month and a 10 day period the next. If it is possible you could be pregnant than you might want to take a test because you can still have very light periods when you are pregnant.

lostinblue81 is right. It's very common to have the same brown discharge that you get after or at the end of your period, at the beginning as well. But still, if you could possibly be pregnant then a test should be taken just in case.
